Dinner seems like a simple thing. People gotta eat. They like to eat. But feeding yourself (and a growing boy-man, and often a large hairy boyfriend) is not exactly simple. Especially when you are super poor. I probably spend an hour everyday just planning for meals.
I’ve blogged about Susan’s Hillbilly Housewife before. Her site provides full weekly menus, shopping lists, recipes and nutritional counts for feeding a family on a range of minimal budgets (this link contains information for a weekly allotment of $45.00) and all she asks in return is that you spread her words.
